I'd like to be able to personally thank the person completing the form by mentioning them by their name in later questions or on the thank you page. Is it possible for me to use an entered name, later on in the form thank you page or anywhere else with the use of a variable?

Yes, that is possible.
Here's how to post user's answer to the thank you page.
1. In the form builder, click Settings on the top menu
2. Click Thank You Page tab
3. In the thank you page, click Form Fields to add the field variables you want to show its data in the thank you page.If your form is using the Single Question in One Page (Cards) Layout, then you need to find the Unique ID of the field and put it inside long brackets in the thank you page.Related Guide: How to Find Field IDs and Names
