I've just realized submissions are publicly available if the option "Require log-in to see submissions" is not checked. I checked it and then tried to open a submission using a link stored in a Google Sheet from an older submission that used Google Sheet integration. The submission was still opened. Does changing this option only take effect for submissions created after the option is set? Or, is this a case where the pdf link in submission notification email will require login, but a link stored in a Google Sheet is not login protected?

It take effect immediately for all submissions.

If you are not logged in you wont be able to access the submission. Even if that link is in a your Google sheet.
I see your settings are configured correctly. And when I tried to access one of your submissions I got this:
So it seems to be working. Please test it again yourself.

Yes, if I use the URL of a submission entry, like https://www.jotform.com/submissions/7114839687XXXX that does produce the message above. If however, I use the edit link for the same submission logged in my Google Sheet, like https://jotform.us/edit/376279145412962XXX, that takes me directly to the form in edit mode. Shouldn't that also be login protected?

Please try using a different internet browser to test it. You can also use the Incognito mode to test it. Here's a guide: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
If the issue still persists, please contact us again. Thank you.
