    Hi folks,

A client of mine is a commercial photographer and takes quite a lot of passport photos for clients. HM Passport Office here in the UK have just announced a new scheme whereby, basically, they can store a customer's passport photo somewhere in the cloud and give the customer a shortened URL which the customer can then use in the online passport application form. More info on the process here - https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/help/photo-codes

I got to thinking Jotform may be a good way to upload and store the passport photos but I need to find a way of automatically shortening the URL (goo.gl or bit.ly etc) of the attached image and including this in the email to the customer. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, JotForm does not have a tool to shorten URLs of images. Also, JotForm may not allow usage of link to the files since it incurs high traffic for the system, if used outside JotForm. For this reason, getting a link to the file does not allow the file to be shown on the browser, but gets a download prompt instead.
