I integrated PayPal into a Jotform, however, when the payment is made, the PayPal fee is being charged. Is there a way to default to "friends and family" so the fee is not assessed?

The payment integration wizard on JotForm does not have such option, but I think this is something that may be configured on the PayPal account so you may contact PayPal in order to ask them about this.

I think that's a shame, especially as I'd like to use JotForm for people to book tickets for a CHARITY event. I'm going to end up losing money from every sale of a ticket which should be going to the charity instead!

As far as I can see this is something that needs to be configured on the PayPal account, the request is sent from your PayPal account as well and I'm not sure if this would work with an integration.
Please note that, as explained above, this is not currently possible on our integration as far as I know, this does not seem like a limitation on JotForm, instead it seems to be a bit tricky to implement in an integration as a custom request must be sent from the PayPal user requesting the payment.
