    Hello,

On my Jotform (https://form.jotform.me/71783263323456), I currently have STRIPE but want to substitute for my PayPal account.

How do I substitute without loosing the programming feature where when a $ is entered, 15% is automatically taken off and entered into the payment field?

    Thanks,

    George

If you want to use the PayPal payment integration you have to remove the Stripe payment field and add the PayPal payment field to your form because a form can have only one payment integration.

Once you add the PayPal payment field to your form, you will need to pass the calculation from the "15 off" field to the PayPal field, the same way you did it with the Stripe.

How to Pass a Calculation to a Payment Field

On my cloned form I replaced the Stripe with PayPal. Here is my form: https://form.jotform.com/80841809227965

Feel free to test it and clone it.

Before you remove the Stripe field from your form, I would suggest you to download your data first because the data associated with the Stripe field will be deleted from the submission page once you remove the field from your form.

    Hello,

I believe I got everything right as to the calculations and format as it calculates 15% off the price and transfers as such to my PayPal account.

Question, how can I have it where they pay on, within the JotForm, without going to a PayPal page?

    - Basically, have the credit card buttons within the JotForm, like I did with STRIPE?

And, where do I control the "receipt" language after the payment is submitted?

    Thanks,

    George

If you want to allow your users to enter credit card info directly on the form, you have to use PayPal Pro payment integration. Paypal Pro requires Business Type PayPal account.

Inside of this guide, you can find how to integrate a form with PayPal Pro:

We also have PayPal Express integration

I think that "receipt" language can be changed in your Paypal account. I only found this related post - https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Merchant-services-Archive/sending-an-invoice-in-another-language/td-p/220754

I would suggest you to contact Paypal support and check with them how and where to change the receipt language.

    Hello,

The PayPal Express section you listed is not conformed to the current PayPal dashboard, as the features listed / locations you have in that link no longer exist.

Is there an alternate way to access and change PayPal Express on my account if necessary?

Also, do you have a screenshot as to how PayPal Express looks and operates/functions on the JotForm?

    Thanks,

    George

JotForm's PayPal Express integration requires a Business PayPal account. If you don't have one yet, sign up or upgrade your existing Personal account.

What is PayPal Payments Pro and how do I get started?

    https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/referral/paypal-payments-pro

If you integrate your form with PayPal Express, the users will be shown a pop-up to make the Payment and the fields will not be shown on the form as you want.

    OK great,

So with express, a tool-tip pops up and users enter payment information?

Is PayPal Express optimized for mobile, like the JotForm is as well?

Thanks for all of your help in this matter, definitely appreciated.

    Hello.

I entered the PayPal Express information from my PayPal account on to my JotForm: https://form.jotform.me/71783263323456

However, when I enter information, no "pop-out" appears, it goes to a PayPal browser.

Also, there is no PayPal button at the bottom of my JotForm for people to click either, with the PayPal logo, Visa, MC, etc...

How do I get it to pop-out, and have the logos, payment logos, on my JotForm?

NOTE: When you test that JotFOrm, you can enter any numbers, including a number for the membership number box.

I saw this on the PayPal website, but no place on JotForm to enter those codes mentioned - https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/direct/express-checkout/integration-jsv4/

PayPal express integration does not have those options, only the PayPal Pro integration. So, if you have a PayPal Pro account, you can integrate use that integration.

    Hello,

The prior answer submitted said PayPal express had the pop-out feature, and even forwarded a screen shot as to how it would look.

IF not, what's the difference between PayPal and PayPal Express on Jotform?

    - Unless you misunderstood the question.

Having PayPal or credit Card payment methods(so the Visa, Master Card, etc, is shown inside the form) is only available for the PayPal Pro integration:  https://www.jotform.com/help/458-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Paypal-Pro

On regards of the Popup not showing up for your PayPal Express, please make sure that you have enabled Digital Goods at your PayPal business account: https://www.jotform.com/help/285-Configuring-PayPal-Express-Integration

    Hello Again,

That article was written in 2014 and PayPal is no longer configured like that now. I went on my PayPal platform and could not find any "Express Checkout...Digital Goods" enablement feature.

Can you point to where it will display on PayPal now, and I will implement on my PayPal account then check my JotForm again.

With my JotForm, I only want the pop-out and understand that "Pro" is to have the card feature directly on the JotForm.

    Thanks,

    George

I just spoke with PayPal and they said that "Digital Goods" is auto-enabled, nothing I would need to do, and that its something on the JotForm end you all need to do.

    Do you have a solution?

    Thanks,

I have inspected your form Digital Goods option is set to NO inside of the payment field settings. You should change this option to YES.

    1522305874digital.JPG

I have also cloned your form and I integrated my cloned form with PayPal Express and I enabled Digital Goods, but checkout popup still did not work. It was shown for a split second and then I was redirected to the PayPal Checkout page.

I will report this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved.

    Hello,

I just put to "no" for digital goods, but always had it at the "yes" option, and it would open to the normal PayPal page, not the Express pop-out.

I will change back to "yes" and let me know when everything is fixed.

    Thanks,

    George

The ticket is still open and marked as important. I am sorry to inform you, but there are no other updates as of this time.

You may consider using a PayPal Standard integration in the mean time. It is mobile friendly and works great.
