Unfortunately, you need to delete the notification in order to turn off the email notifications.

If you want, you can change the email recipient of the notification. Please take note that you cannot use a dummy email address. I recommend you to change it to a working email address that you are currently not using.

You can change it in the "Recipient" tab of the email notification. Here's a screenshot:
