Can form have auto numbered fields?

i am trying to create a form 50 point for a swimming pool inspection and would like to number each checklist point so when i write a report for corrective action i can reference the number item for a client or maintenance dept

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that you wan tot see the numbered questions when you generate submission report?

Please note that the report will display the heading text which you have set in the question label. If you want to see the numbered question in report, you will have to add the question label accordingly in form as well.

I’m sorry I should have asked is there a way to auto number each form item
rather than have to add each number manually especially if I have to add
items later and then have renumber everything!

Unfortunately, we do not currently have an option to auto number the form fields.

We have attached a feature request ticket to this thread and forwarded it to our developers. There is no ETA for when it will be implemented, but we will let you know if we have any updates.
