Google Checkout/Wallet integration: "totalAmount" shown at checkout stage

    Hi,

    I've designed a form which integrates with Google Checkout to allow the user to make a payment upon form submission. I have set Google Checkout to take payment as a donation. When the user has filled in the form and is taken to Google Checkout, beneath the 'item' name/details appears "totalAmount". I have no idea why this appears - it seems to be part of the field name for the donation box on the form but I wondered if I can get rid of it? See screenshot for what I mean. 

    As an aside question, is it possible to hook a jotForm up to Google Checkout sandbox to test things?

    Hi, we apologize for the inconvinience cause. I was able to reproduce the "totalAmount" wording issue on the Checkout google page. It seems this is a glitch that must have been overlooked.

    Since this is probably part of the back end code, I must tell you that we probably cannot get around this using the form builder alone.

    I will escalate this to our Next Level support for an immediate resolution. This post will be updated when there is news on its progress.

     

    On your side question, I haven't subscribe yet to a google sandbox account so I could not immediately check, But, was your question is -- if you can embed a form in Google checkout sandbox?

    Thanks for looking at this issue.

    Re sandbox: Yes, sort of. I've created a google checkout sandbox merchant account which gives me a sandbox checkout merchant ID. If I paste that ID in the jotform form builder wizard then try to submit my form it causes an error in Google checkout. I would guess that's because the form builder is forwarding the user to the live Google checkout service rather than the sandbox service and because I'm using a sandbox merchant ID it causes an error.

    Hi, it is probable that what you just mentioned was the cause of error in sandbox google checkout. As is now, Jotform does not really have an official integration feature using the sandbox google checkout only, which means I could not provide much info about the error encountered.

    But what I can do is, suggest our other integrations instead in place of sandbox google checkout. There must be features among the different existing integration that can match the google checkout.

    Sorry for the delayed response, but after testing your form extensively, I wasn't able to reproduce this  problem anymore.

    Can you please confirm if the same can be said on your end?
