Conditional E-mails: Can email be sent only once instead of multiple times?

On nursing cap documentation submission form, I have some email settings that I would like to be sent once only not multiple times. When I turn off (SEND ON EDIT) feature it does not send the emails. If I turn it on it sends email but it sends it multiple times each time the form is edited.

What we like is Notification of Complete to be sent ONCE when form is completed.

Autoresponder Approval to be sent ONCE when form is approved

Autoresponder Not Approved to be sent ONCE when form is not approved.

When you turn off the 'Send on Edit' option, as you said, users, do not get the related e-mail after they edited the form.

I have cloned your form and checked it. I got the e-mail once after I submitted the form.

Then I edited my submission and I got the e-mails once again. So, I could not replicate the problem you had. If you are still experiencing the problem, could you please clarify your problem more detailed? How can we replicate it?

If we can replicate it, we can assist you better. We will be waiting for your response.

I need to turn Send on Edit option ON because the form is edited multiple times. I just one nursingcap@childrensnational.org to receive 1 email (Notification of Complete). What is happening is they are receiving 2 emails. One when the email is completed. Then they click on edit link to approve the form then they get another 2nd email. Is there a way to prevent second email from being sent?

Create a separate email notification for that recipient, and make sure to turn off the "Send on edit" option.

I do have a separate email notification for the recipient. If I turn OFF "Send on EDIT" option then they will not receive the email because the form is not completed on initial submission of the form. The form is completed after several changes to the form.

I think you wanna leave the Send on Edit option to YES if you want to send that email when the form is edited.

You need to set up the conditions in a way that the conditions are met only once when the form is edited.

Here is a DEMO form that I have created. https://form.jotform.com/80924991112962

The condition would look something like this.

This Notification email will be sent only when field 4 is filled and field 5 (approval) is not filled.

The approval/rejection emails should be sent only when the form is reviewed (field 5 filled).

    I hope this helps.
