How to limit dropdown selection?

can we limit drop down selection?

i want my user to only select 2 options from the drop down field only.

is there any layout for it ?

As far as I understood your needs, I can suggest using Checkbox in Dropdown widget, because the regular dropdown does not seem to handle allowing only 2 options.
