Feature request: integration with any postcode software

    Hi

Please can you advise me of whetehr you intend to use a UK postocide software checking tool in the future.  The 3 options you currently have do not work for us at all.

We need each part of the address to have its own field and the tool you use currently doesn't put in the town which is a key part of our requirement.  Without this we are not able to import our data from the spreadsheet we would download.

    Are we missing something?

Please can you advise ASAP as we are keen to launch our website very soon.

    Thanks

    Jo

Did you mean the following platform (http://www.postcodesoftware.co.uk/) when you mentioned PostalCode software?

Kindly confirm the above for me to place a feature request on the same. Kindly note feature requests depend on the workloads of our developers and popularity among our users. Based on this we may not provide an ETA for when this will be implemented.

Thank you and awaiting your response.

    Hi

The software we use currently in our old website is https://www.pcapredict.com/

It works well so is our preference.

Are you able to commit to a timescale so that we can be certain that we will have the tool available in the next 2-3 months?

    Thanks

    Jo

Could you please explain your expectations and requirements in details so we can escalate your request to proper development unit?

We wish to be able to use the postcode software within our Jotforms to verify addresses.

I will escalate your request as a feature request. Same as my colleague's response, we cannot provide any ETA since it is highly related to our developers' workload and the number of the same request. You will be notified via this thread once there is an update.

Are you able to advise me what other UK based organisations are using to moderate their customer address inputting?  It seems odd nobody else seems to be experiencing the same issues as us so perhaps we are missing something?

We need to ensure that our address capture is correct and allows us to import data rather than having to process on a one by one basis.

In August we have over 1000 sign ups and we cannot manually input these due to the address not being fully populated for UK customers.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks

    Jo

I am not sure if you are using a Widget so that the Address field is Autocompleted after the Postal Code is written.

    DEMO: https://form.jotform.com/81324976729974

Feature request: integration with any postcode software Image 10

This Widget (Autocompleted Address) depends on the Google Maps data, so, if a field is not filled automatically it means that the data is incomplete/incorrect in the Google Maps database.

    Hi

As you can see in your widget it leaves the City blank and often doesn't put the first line of the address in which is useless for capturing people's addreses.  Also the address isn't long enough for UK formatting.  Below is a screen grab of the UK format.  Our UK postal service is run by Royal Mail and the address your widget captures would mean post would not get there.  This is really serious.  Please can you escalate to your developers and see where they have this planned in because as a form collects details you would ope it was capable of collecting the details you need otherwise why use it?

Your issue has been escalated to the development team. And you have been assigned a developer. However, this issue has not been marked with a high priority. So it could take some time before this issue is addressed.

As a workaround, may I suggest you use a standard address field to your form?
