Card Form: the option to add a Print button in the Result Preview window

    Hi.

I am using a new Card form. I would like the option to print the results of the form submission, just like the "Preview Before Submit" widget offers for classic full page forms.

    How can this be accomplished?

    Thanks,

    Mark

That is not possible, you would need to switch you form layout to the classic layout through your form settings:

Hey Bdavid, thanks for your reply.
I was afraid you were going to say that.
Can you put in a request to add "Print" to the card version.
Kinda disappointing to create such amazing cards and then remove features
    that are already available.
    Thanks!

Please disregard my previous answer. I thought that you wanted to print the form itself(as it look online).

If you want to print the submission data just as it looks in the Preview Before Submit view:

The only option would be by going into the edit mode of each submission: https://www.jotform.com/edit/3987578422111536750

Then opening the preview, and doing a ctrl+P using Chrome browser to print that view:

You can include the edit link to the submission in your notification:

Hi. Thanks for your follow up.

First, I would like to attach a PDF but this form is not allowing that...maybe that could be changed?

Second, if I understand you correctly, you are saying I must view submission preview before submitting and then sent to printer. (I don't understand what you mean by going to edit mode...I tried that and it sends me back to the form with fields (mostly) filled out but no ability to print all submissions.

Sending submission preview to printer only works if the submissions are all visible when Ctrl+P is used. (Like in the form demo link you sent me.)

Longer forms don't work. I just used our form https://form.jotform.com/80726940774162

and did a test for 3 watches with a bunch of fields. Only the first 9 showed up in print preview, rest are blank, please see (attached...can't do that :) link below.

So I am brought back to my original query: can the Preview & Print widget in classic that sends all data to print preview be tweaked and enabled for Cards ?

This must be a common use case: printing a receipt of sorts. I would think many would benefit from it.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Are you trying to attach a PDF to the autoresponder email? This section worked to my end, can you try again or can you clarify how you did it?

Yes, you need to go to the Edit More, basically going back to the original submission using the edit link.

The card form has a preview, so the widget is likely not going to be enabled for card forms. We have a request for Print button, so I have requested that instead. In the meantime, you may consider adding the PDF link in the email body instead:

or enable PDF Attachment in the Advanced tab:

This two features will give you an option to get a PDF copy of the submission that can be downloaded and printed.

    I hope that works.
