    Hi,

Is it possible to have any other file formats than pdf attached to the email response containing the submission data? I would like it to be csv. What formats are available?

    Thanks,

    Johan

    Hello Johan,

Yes, you can attach other files, other than the PDF. In autoresponders, you can set a file attachment with any file extension and let the person who made submissions receive an email with the file attachment you have uploaded to the setting.

You can check out this guide for more information: https://www.jotform.com/help/393-How-to-Attach-a-File-to-Autoresponder-Emails

If this is not what you mean, or if you have additional questions, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Thank you for the answer.

Would this solution also make the file include the submitted data of the applicant, like in the ordinary pdf-attachment? I'm looking for the same functionality with a different file type.

    Thanks

Yes, you can allow the files submitted to be attached to the email, however this feature is only available to email notification (emails received by the form owner). To enable this, just edit your form and go to Settings > Emails > Notification > Advanced > Send uploads as Attachment > Yes.

Please also take note that emails with attachments have limited maximum file size alowed to be attached on emails (around 10mb).

    Thank you Liyam,

I only meant the actual form submission data no uploaded file.
Like if someone fills in a bunch of fields, like name etc.

I want to have an attached file in the email response containing a copy of the inputed data. Just like the pdf-functionality only with a different file format. Let me know if I can clarify the question further,

    Thanks

Thanks for the clarification, Johan. Unfortunately, there is no option to attach a submission in any format, other than PDF.
