You can show or hide fields based on user's answers but I am not sure if this is what you are looking for.
Complete Guide: How to Show or Hide Fields Base on User's Answer
I can see that you are using the Auto Complete Widget on that field.
What description would you like to show after the selection is made?
Is the description unique for each option?
I also suggest you check the Spreadsheet to Form Widget which can be used to prepopulate the form using the values you have on the spreadsheet.

As mentioned already, you can achieve this using the method described on the user guide
Since the options contains multiple texts/phrase I suggest you use the condition state "Contains with..." instead of "Equal to".
The "Contains" rule is more flexible when searching long descriptive texts or phrases from field's select options.
Let us know if you need further assistance doing this.

yea that's a lot more work because it's constantly changing.
I'll wait for widget to come out before I offer the descriptions on the form.
Thank you both!
