How to use the clear hidden fields feature with widgets?

    I have my clear hidden field values set to "clear on being hidden" but when my configurable list widget is hidden after someone selects one of the options, that option isn't being cleared. Is there a way to fix this?

    To be more specific, when someone checks the "check box to purchase this item" box, the configurable list appears (because of the conditional logic I have set up). If they select their size, color and/or quantity but then decide they don't want that item anymore and uncheck the box, the the size/color/quantity options they selected are still being submitted. Please let me know if there is a way to fix this.

    Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a workaround on this so far, this is due to the way how widgets are developed, basically they are  standalone pages loaded inside your form, they cannot be handled exactly as basic fields due to this so that feature would not work with widgets. 

    Please note that this will be implemented as soon as our developers find a workaround on this, I may also pass this thread to our second level as feature request if you want, please let us know.

    Since it is not possible to have the hidden fields clear after unchecking the box, is it possible to have the remove button show up right away next to the first row of options? So then they can at least clear out their selections if they want.

    The remove button only shows up after they have added a second line of options.

    It would be nice if it could show up right away.
