Form not submitting , prompts payment

    Hello,

I use jotform for membership applications. If an applicant responds "no" to a question on page 5 of my form, they get to bypass the payment gateway on page 6, and go directly to page 7 to  submit the form without paying.

This has worked in the past, but not any more.   The form returns an error, which asks the applicant to submit payment information.

I think this because an amount is auto selected on page 6 which is triggering the request for payment details.

If this is the problem, how can I deselect the amount? If that is not the reason, please help.

Even if the removed payment as a "required" response, applicants still get an error

Yes, the error may be happening since the payment field ended up with a total amount, but since you were conditionally skipping that page the user was not entering information, note that if the payment field amount is greater than $0 then it will request the payment info.

I can see you have already removed the selected product:

I would also recommend you to make the field as not required by default:

You may instead conditionally require the field based on the same selections you're currently using for the skip to page conditions, this guide will help you conditionally requiring a field: https://www.jotform.com/help/371-How-to-Enable-Disable-Fields-Using-Conditional-Logic

    I hope this helps.

This was helpful.  I used conditional formatting to disable the payment page if the applicant answered "no".
