Where's my form and account gone?

Asked by guest_23062656403044 on November 02, 2012 at 05:33 AM

I had an account and two forms set up. Now when I logon with my credentials - user name JamesM - the account appears to be for someone quite different, my forms have gone and only his is there.

What's happenned? And how can I get all my data back?

The URL of the form is http://www.penllyn.org.uk/contact.htm and http://www.penlline.org.uk/contact.htm

What is the email address you have used to sign up for your account?

Do you still have links of your forms? Can you please share it to us?

Sorry, I must have overlooked the page URL you have provided on your initial post.

Anyway, I have found your forms under the trash folder of the account "JamesM". Click on each form then click the Restore Form button to recover them.

As for your account security issue, are you quite sure that someone else has gotten a hold of this account?

If so, I'd advise you to change your password immediately. Go to your Account Settings page to change it.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Yes a James Murphy had accessed the account and created his own form. I don't know how this is possible since even if he had got hold of the pasword somehow, there is no advantage to him in using someone elses account rather than just creating a new one.

It tends to point to some sort of systems failure at your end.

But everything now works again and of course I have changed the password and changed the registered email address from his back to mine again.

Yes, that does seem to be the case. We're sorry about that.

I have temporarily moved that other user's form to my account until he responds to our messages regarding this issue.

Please let us know if we can be of further help.
