I have a form which basically is about 58 questions with yes no answers.
I would like to use the Input Table and have a yes / no to answer each.
I need to be able to default the yes column. Is there a way to do that?

To my understanding, you would like to set the answer to every row in the Input Table in your form to "Yes". However, I'm afraid there is no option for you to do that within the Input Table field properties.
But there is a workaround:
What you will do is upload the form to your website using its Full Source Code — How-to-get-the-Full-Source-Code-of-your-Form
Here's a sample webpage.
Here's what I did to the Full Source code of the form on that webpage. I have added the checked="checked" attribute to the input element that is the "Yes" option of every row in the Input Table field.
I hope this helps. If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Thanks Mike. But, how to I upload the customized form back into jotform to use?

You cannot upload the customized form back to JotForm. What was customized was the form full source code and not the form itself.
If you want to make changes to the same form, you also have to re-embed its full source code to your website every time and do the steps I mentioned above.

Is there a method to submit a change or addition to Jotform or the widget author to have that option added in to the properties as an option? If yes, how? And how long would some feature like that take to be added?
This would make adding my possibly close to 100 forms simple and easier to sell to my organization. We are currently testing Jotforms. We have pages and pages of checklist which involve simple yes / no and would like our crews to be able to look down the side on short page, of their 22 page morning checklist (20-30 per page) and just pick the No if they apply. 99% of the times everything is Yes.

It is not possible to make such changes in the form.
I suggest you generate the pre-populated link of the form with those fields set to yes. You would then send this link to the users who will fill the form.
You can generate such link for all your forms very easily using our PrePopulate Application.
