Zapier Integration: authorization failed

    the autorization from zappier to jotform is not working

    Please try removing the integration then adding it again to see if that solves your problem. If not then please let us know so that we can further investigate the issue.

    Hi.  I'm having the same issue.  Tried removing and readding, but no luck.  I get a authorization failed: You're not authorized to use (/user/knowledge/forms).

     

    Pleas help!

    @Joshy,

    What particular integration to Zapier do this issue happen? How about clearing your browsers cache and cookies, please try that and to the Integration again.

    @Welvin

    This occured when testing the JotForm account in Accounts.  The test brings up this eror message.  Tried clearing all history (cookies, etc.) still no luck.  Same error.  Any thoughts?  Josh

    Hi Josh,

    Try to click "Manage Accounts", a window will appear, choose Jotform and click "X" to delete. Add again your Jotform Account, please be sure to login in Jotform when Authorizing Zapier and make sure that the authorization was sucessfully done (don't close the window while it still loads).

    See if that helps, if not, please try changing your password to Alphanumeric in Jotform and do it again.

    Hi WelvinTried all that. Deleted several times and pw is already alphanumeric. No luck. Any thoughts?Thanks Josh

    Can you take a screenshot of that error please, that would be very helpful. I have now forwarded this thread to our developers for further investigations. They will let you know on this thread if they up with updates.

    Are you sure about writing right username on Zapier ?

    And please share the error message that you take from Zapier.

    Hi eee.  Yes, I've checked and rechecked all info.  Cleared cache, etc.  Replaced and re-added.  Nothing seems to work.

    Get the same error everytime:  authorization failed: You're not authorized to use (/user/knowledge/forms).

    Your username on Jotform is joshy105. Why are you writing knowledge as your username on Zapier ?

    I'm not.  This seems to be the error.  I'm inputing the information correctly.  It sends me to my JotForm account for authorization and this works fine.  The account is registered as joshy105 with Zapier in authorizations.

    Nope, while adding your JotForm account to Zapier, it will ask you 2 fields, one for account's name (for Zapier to identify your account), one for username (for JotForm API, it has to be your username on JotForm)

    Please be sure about you're writing the write ones.

    Hi eee.  Got that.  Yeah, we were adding it correctly, and authorizing properly.  Seems to be filling in other functions.

    Hi eee.  Problem solved.  Another user on our system was editing the information incorrectly simultaneously.  That's why it kept coming up different when I would log in.  Apologies for the confusion.  Thanks for the help!
