I am using condition logic in jotform cards.  Is there a way to disable the next button without moving my card all the way to the end of the form?

And, the issue you described is caused by this condition in your form.

If you don't want your respondents to be redirected to the last page of your form after selecting an option on the first page, I suggest that you delete that condition.
