We are getting recurring notifications that the API limits have been hit. I created a new API key, and it temporarily worked again, but now it says limit hit again. There's no way we hit the limit, first of all it's Sunday, and nobody has done anything yet today, and we are only doing about 50 calls a day.

I reset it for you. I am not sure of the count, but I think it fails to reset for the day. Please let us know if the issue persists.
I would also suggest checking Jotform's Sync Frequency on your Android device. Select 30 minutes or 1 Hour from the list so the app won't sync frequently.
