Submissions: How to automate daily deletion of submissions over the year old?

In line with the impending GDPR rules I was wondering if there was a way top automate the daily deletion of submission records over a year old?

We have an app to delete your submissions instantly as soon as they are received, Auto Delete Submission APP.

At this time it can not be executed to delete submissions depending on the time stored.
