    Submission Question.

    Hi Guys,

    I'm just testing the waters here with one of my custom forms. I'm not far away from upgrading to a pro account but before I do here are my questions. Currently I have around 8 submissions in my "submissions" inbox under one of my forms (Artist Endorsement Deals) and they are all pending PayPal payment but to save space (at this stage) I accepted them all as being "paid" even though they have not paid for the service.

    After I accepted them all, I get the email with all of their "input" details including what they have uploaded into the form. My concern is that, If I now delete these submissions from this list (even though I have the email with all of that data) if I delete the submissions and then try to download (for example) their artist profile images and r music MP3 files, will they be deleting or not available to me if I delete the submission data?

    Does that all make sense?

    Hi there!

    You are quite correct!

    If you do not accept an incomplete payment submission,  you will not receive the notifiocation e-mail nor would that submission count on your account counter.  The data will be lost.

    If you decide to accept it, your count will increase and teh data will be submitted.  The only thing is that the payment has not been completed.

    Thanks so much for your speedy reply, My concern is that, If I now delete these submissions from my jotform submissions list (even though I have the emails in my mail program server with all of that data) will I still be able to locate the (uploaded) files from the jotform emails post deleting the submissions from my jotform account?

    Hello ordioproductions.  If you delete the data on your submissions page, the downloadable file will also not be available anymore.  So you will have to download them first before you delete them to ensure that you have a copy for your own.

    There are other options for you to get an immediate copy of the file.  This is through using integrations on your form.  Two well-known integrations that can make you get immediate copies of your files are via using Google Drive and Dropbox.

    Everytime you receive a submission, a copy of the submitted data and the attached file(s) are sent to your Dropbox and/or Google Drive account.  Better yet, if you have installed their apps on your computer, your computer will immediately sync and download the copy of the submission to your computer.
