Do You have a Download Button

Asked by fizi247 on November 07, 2012 at 09:13 PM

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am aware that you have an "Upload Button" For Images, but do you also have a "Download Button", so that my clients can Download my images to their flyers/promotional material?

    Please refer to the following link as an example;

    Regards,

    Hi Franklin,

We currently don't have an option to let someone download a file from your form or to host a file to your account and let your user download it.

As a workaround, you can create a form, use our image field and link a download to it.

    Example: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23118665060954?

We can use our conditional logic tool for the options to show sizes.

If this is something you would like to achieve, let us know so we can assist you.

    Thanks

    Hi Welvin,

    Thanks for the reply.

I've seen the first example for the link you sent  http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23118665060954?, however I can not picture the second example in your  conditional logic tool.

If I can incorporate the Download link as shown in the previous example: https://www.theticketsellers.co.uk/sell_tickets/logos.php, then either one will do. Please kindly recommend  options, as can't see the second option.

    Regards,

    Hi Franklin,

The second option can be use to show/hide a field. I edit the form so you can see what I meant to say.

If you will select an option from the dropdown, it will hide and show another field/item.

I use the condition tool to show the download option when you select the sizes from the dropdown.

I hope that I explain it well. Let us know if you have questions.

    Thanks

    Hi Welvin,

Thank you for the above link. I think the 2nd option is definitely the better option  http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23118665060954?

Could you please confirm whether I will find all the instructions in this link,  conditional logic tool  or is there an easier step by step guide?

Also, I will be uploading a total of 9 images, which consist of 3 designs and 3 sizes. In layman terms, it is 3 designs and 3 different sizes (Total 9 Images).

Will this method enable me to show/hide the images in the same way as shown in the example link      https://www.theticketsellers.co.uk/sell_tickets/logos.php, ?

    Regards,

    Franklin

    Hi Franklin,

Yes, that's possible. To do that you have to create HIDE/SHOW condition. Here's how to access Conditions Wizard.

    And here's an example condition:

This means, if sizes dropdown field equals large then show large image download button.

If you need further assistance, update us again here. Thanks!

    Hi,

I'm trying to implement the Screen Shots that idarktech set out for me. The stage that I am at, is where the 3 download buttons have been displayed on the 2nd Screenshot.

Please advise how do I retrieve these "Download Button" Icons?

    Regards,

    Hi Franklin,

You have to enter a name for each images first so it will reflect on the conditions wizard. Example, on the first image name it Large and be sure to add download link as well. Check this visual guide:

You can then conveniently create conditions for these images since you'll be able to see their names on the conditions wizard like on the 2nd screen in my previous post. This is what I mean:

Of course you have to create single condition for each images. You can clone this form if you like, it may help you figuring it out. http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23121759199965?

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks!

    Hi,
    Thanks for the tips.
I understand what you are showing me/illustrating, but what I do not
    understand, is how you manage to retrieve the following info;
    Image Link
    Height
    Width

    Hi,

Oh! I think I missed that, I'm truly sorry. First off, this is a form from my colleauge (Welvin) so I have no clue where he get that, maybe he's googling free images/icons. You can also grab free from http://www.mricons.com/. And for the links, I'm sure he grab it from your site so to create working example :)

Images and Height is generated automatically after uploading images to a form. To upload image, just use Image tool it's under Power Tools.

    Thanks!

I really hope you get this fast. I could not inform anyone about our trip, because it was impromptu. We had to be in Philippines for a Tour..the program was successful, but our journey has turned sour. We misplaced our wallets and cell phones on our way back to the hotel after we went for sight seeing. The wallet contains all the valuables we have. Now, our luggage is in custody of the hotel management pending when we make payment on outstanding bills we owe.
I am sorry if I am inconveniencing you but I have only very few people to turn to now. I will be very grateful if I can get a short term loan of $1,250 from you. This will enable me sort our hotel bills and get my sorry self back home. I will really appreciate whatever you can afford at this moment. I promise to refund it in full as soon as I return. Please let me know if you can be of any help
    Thanks
