Payeezy/FirstData Integration: Is it possible to get the Transaction ID?

    Hi

    I would like to use the Payeezy / FirstData payment processing add-on. Its working ok, but for my application I need to know the transaction id generated when FirstData processes the request.

    Is it possible to retrieve this? If not could this be raised as a feature request. From previous experience using Payeezy/FirstData in other applications I know that it is possible and this data is returned by the API.

    Ideally I would like this data added to the POST parameter and then forwarded to a custom thank you page where is would be available.

    The idea would be to display the transaction id to the user so that they can record it for their own records.

    If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to show the Payeezy Transaction ID to the users in the Thank You Page once the submission has been completed successfully.

    I will forward this to our developers as a feature request.

    We will let you know via this thread once there is an update on this.

    I believe you have the option (in Payeezy) to send an email to the customers when they make a Payment. That email should include the Transaction ID.

    Thank you. I did think about the option to send the email to the customer, but I could not find anywhere in the add-on to configure the email address. As far as I can see this is not sent to Payeezy.

    I meant there must be an option in the Payeezy website which lets you choose if you want to send an email to the customer after making a purchase.
