So I'm trying to get this table to spread out the content appropriately but it keeps bunching up. This is what it looks like on the email notification. How can I get it to spread out properly?

You can customize the email body on an email alert to your convenience. You can even delete the table entirely . And just add the  {variables} along the labels, aligned the way you wish to. Or you can use a word editor and make a different type of customized table as shown below

I added the variables but I don't know how to make the table bigger. I set the width of the cells in the table but it didn't increase the size of the cells at all. The picture you added is exactly what I want to do but how do I do that to my table?

    Hi,

Notification template is highly customizable, just feel free to play around with the toolbars. You can use the table toolbars to customize your notification template tables. I'd also suggest to use "source code editing" by clicking on HTML icon and edit it there to get a better result.

Just feel free to let us know if you have further questions. Thanks!

Yeah, I have been messing around with the cell and row properties but what I want to know is how to adjust the cell spacing. I tried setting the width and height and it never works.

Well to be honest the editor is not perfect but it's enough that you can realistically build it the way you want pretty much but it will just take a lot of finagling mainly to get it the way you want it and was my colleague as suggested you pretty much have to modify the General Settings or use some Html if you know any and create your own Html-based table layout.

You can also alternatively click inside the main editing area of the Nofication Email and adjust it more to make the spacing wider and such.

I would very much love to be able to click inside the main editing area of the notification email but no adjusting boxes have appear around the table. Does that not work on all browsers or something? I just can't get the table to change size at all.

I know where to go to change it in the table properties but everytime I change the size nothing happens. That's the problem.

    Hi,

As to what my colleague mention, our form notification editor is not perfect. Your changes has been save but you just can't see it on the editor itself. You can try the "TEST EMAIL" button so you can see the changes.

Please try and let us know for results.

    Thanks

Yeah, sorry. I tried the Test notification as well but no luck. It's ok, at this point I just don't think it's going to do what I need it to do. I'll just have to find another way.

Hi, can you please also tell us which email client you are using to read the email message? Is it MS Outlook, Outlook express, Mozilla thunderbird... I asked because sometimes, on the email client, there are formatting preferrences that are setup.

    Thanks.

Can you check these settings and make sure your Outlook email client is set up to render recieved emails in HTML?
