It is well known that a password field is generally used for login forms but unfortunately here in JotForm we do not allow it. We do not have membership features so it is not possible to use this field as part of the login form or we simply do not allow login forms here as they are most commonly used for stealing account informations.
Our password field is basically used for filtering sensitive messages or for creating a password protected form and for conditional logics, a password protected form tutorial can be found on this thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/21374-How-can-I-password-protect-a-form#21426
Hope this clarifies a bit. Thank you so much for asking.
