    Hi,

In my form "Contact Us - BarkinWoofer" the "Questions or Comments" field has stopped displaying in the email I receive.

A few days ago I lengthened the print area of the email as it was being sent in a narrow column. Emails I have received since have not displayed the Comments data but the data is stored in the Submissions area on Jotform.

Today I deleted the original Comments field and replaced it with a new one as I was thinking that maybe I had introduced a bug. The new Comments field still does not display in the email.

What needs to be done to get this to work again?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

You may need to refresh the Notification email message to get the textarea field comment reflect on the message body.

    OR

at most, you can try adding a new notification instead, to get all the default fields included in the message.

Please try this and inform us if this does not work.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I had already done the things you noted and they did not help.

But I believe i know what caused the problem: I wanted the font color of the Comment to be blue so when I was in the Email Notification editor I used the buttons at the top of the editor to set the "commentsOr" to blue (see image above). I imagine this changed the HTML causing it to be ignored in the display. I anm now leaving the text black as set in the form.

I was unable to change the color on the form editor using the Color menuitem... it would only allow black.

    Hi Max,

I was able to apply the text area field color in my email notification using a clone of your form.

What I did was deleted first the existing notification, then, add new and change the text color using the html menu on top (font color menu)

If OK with you, you can also just clone this form http://www.jotformpro.com/form/23156133362951 and just change the email address in the notification to yours.

Hope this help. Inform us if you require further assistance.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jonathan,

Thanks again. I cloned the form and it works great.

The font color picker still seems work improperly... I wonder if it is due to Firefox. I have not tested it in IE.

The color picker is OK now in both Firefox and ID!
