I've set up email notifications based on an answer on my form

I've set up email notifications based on an answer on my form. Can I see a list of emails based on conditions once I have set them up? My list is quite long and is subject to change. Thank you.

Are you asking how you can see the list in the form or when you receive the emails? In the form, you need to go to the conditions tab to see the list of emails. There is no other way around this.

If you have a list of emails, why not use a distribution list in the form instead of having all of the email addresses in one condition? That will work better. If you want to remove a recipient, you can do it on the distribution list settings.

Can I still use a distribution list if the email is conditional on an answer in my form? I don't want the form, once submitted to go to everyone. And I've searched the Help guide for "distribution lists" and it does net me any results.

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, you can. Just group the recipients into a list. Condition A for List A, Condition B for List B, and so on. We do not have a guide for this method, on how you can create such list. You need to ask your hosting provider about it.

OK thanks. I don't think that will suit my situation. I have one email per conditional answer, so I think I'm farther ahead to use the conditional tool.

In case you have another suggestion I'll explain in more depth. I have a question that reads "what school does student attend?" with a possible 170 answers to choose from (which I have on a pick list). Depending on what school they choose, I want to notify that school by email when the form is "submitted".

Thank you for your time, much appreciated.

I see. Thank you for the additional explanation. I should have clarified then - my apologies. I thought you have a list with multiple recipients in it. There's a way, but I need to know if the email is customized for each school.

If the email is just a personalized one based on the data input from the form, then I think the workaround will work.

I'm referring to utilizing our dropdown field, then set the school emails as the calculation value.

~Next, add a new email field.

~Add a new autoresponder email containing your personalized message then set the new email field as the recipient.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder

~Add a conditional logic to copy the dropdown value to the new email field, and that's it.

The School Email field can be hidden in the form.
