Could you upgrade our account and than downgrade it after a couple of months?

We are exploring options for upgrading our account. We have heavy traffic with our payment submission forms 4-6 months out of the year but far less traffic 6-8 months.

is it possible to adjust our membership based on traffic? We know in winter and early spring we receive the majority of our submissions and are fine paying premium price. We do not need it 12 months out of year so we’d like to be able to downgrade.

is this possible? My bosses are looking into other options and I’d like to stick with your service.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Yes, you can downgrade (or upgrade) your account anytime you want. Once you upgrade your account, you can cancel it immediately or any day before the next renewal date and you will not be billed again.

Look at the guides below, and see how you can upgrade (or downgrade) your account.

    -How-to-Cancel-a-Subscription-and-downgrade-back-to-free

    -How-to-Upgrade-My-Account

Please, keep in mind, if you upgrade your account and receive a great number of submissions, and then decide to downgrade, back to free, then the oldest submissions will be deleted and only the newest 500 submissions will be saved in your account.

To avoid losing data you may download all your info at the same time, uploaded files and even your forms as HTML files.

    Look at this guide: -How-to-Export-All-of-Your-Data-at-Once

While you are a free account and reach this limit, you will be notified, if you don't want to download your data and want to keep data in JotForm, then you will be able to upgrade to the storage plan which will allow you to store your data, no matter the number of submissions they are.

    Hope this helps.

We would probably drop down to the tier of 100 submissions a month, not free.  We also export our information for verification purposes so we are not concerned with the amount of storage so much on jotform as much as being able to offer the appropriate amount of payment submissions.

If we need to be able to offer 1000 submissions per month that's the gold tier, and then we can drop to silver and that would be 100 per month?

The Gold plan has an unlimited number of payments per month. This means that if you will upgrade to Gold, the limit will be based on the monthly regular submissions limit which is 100, 000.

Yes, the Silver plan only allows you to receive up to 100 payments per month.
