Payment Fields/Coupon Codes: Avoid to show coupon as valid if affected product/subscription is not selected.

    Hi Jotform Support,

    I have created a promo code which is not eligible for all products however.

    The problem am facing is the promo code shows as valid even if it is not valid for that product.

    The good thing is it is not working by discounting the product but my customers and sales people are facing an issue as it does say Coupon is valid

    Actually, the form is behaving as intended, if the coupon code is valid since it exists in the coupons list; however, it does not discount the amount since the affected subscriptions are not selected. 

    We may open a feature request for this if you want, although we cannot provide an ETA, we would keep you updated via this thread. 

    Let us know if you would like to open the feature.

    Hi Kevin the form is not behaving the way it should.

    Any payment gateway allows a coupon code for selected products. That's the point of your widget allowing me to choose which products i want to validate for the coupon code.


    I have just had a sale person use the Coupon for and invalid product.


    If coupon is used for a product it is not intended for the coupon should say invalid code and not allow the sale to proceed.


    Please fix this issue with your widget

    I see what you mean with my tests on a cloned version of your form. Let me forward the issue to our backend team for further investigation. If there is any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.

    Unfortunately, this issue is still not resolved.
