I added a new widget date field. It is hidden and is showing current date. I just had an entry and when I look at it in the inbox the field is there but blank. What is wrong with my new field?

I have cloned your form, integrated it with Google Spreadsheet and I was able to replicate the issue.
It seems that the DateTime Single widget, is not pushing its data into the Google Spreadsheet.
I will forward this issue to our back-end, so that they can check it further.
We will let you know via this thread if updates are available.

Darn... OK then I will try another date option. Thanks for verifying.

For the meantime, you could use DatePicker or Mini Date Picker.

I used date picker, mini date picker has no to-days date option... to bad that is my preferred widget. Every time I change this field I have to create a new integration and the links to it.
Waiting for the next submission...

Well again a failure.... Had three submissions with no current date using Date Picker. My thought is these widgets need to have a selection made before they actually work... Bummer

I made a test form 81374144314956 with all the 10 widgets and the regular date picker, and integrated it. Only two of the widgets actually record to-days date without any input.
Localized Calendar, and Date Picker.
I tried Date Picker in one of edits and it didn't work as I show above.
These two dates format correctly on integrated sheet as: 18 May,2018.
Any thoughts why Date Picker works on one form and not the other? Could it be because it was hidden... I should test that...
Any suggestion as to which I should use? Help Required ... Again!

After further testing the conclusion is, hidden fields do not record dates...
So now if I make it display: none instead of hidden will it work? ... more testing...
After further testing the conclusion is, display: none fields do record dates.
Joyful sounds can be heard.
Thank you, Thank you..... Robert

Thank you for testing the issue further. I have tested the widgets as well and the Datepicker widget values will not be forwarded to the Google Spread Sheet Integration when it is hidden.
But If you use the css code: Display:none; It will only hide the text but not the values.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

So your test results were the same as mine... That verifies my results. That is good news and good to know.
My test results.
Note values in RED did not format as, dd mmm, yyyy, which is the sheet format setting indicating they are actually text and not numerical date values. As you can see there are 4 elements that do not work and 1 that shows 1 May, 2018. I may have entered that in error.
