Why I'm charged again for new subscription?

    I just upgraded from Bronze to Silver. Why was I charged the full $39 instead of just the $20 difference for the first month?!

    Also, I applied for an educator's discount, but I haven't received any info on how to apply that yet.

    I checked our records, you just applied for the educational discount, you will receive an appropriate response as soon as possible.

    Regarding your upgrade to silver plan, you had Bronze yearly plan bought on 31st of December 2017 through PayPal, then you upgraded today to Silver monthly, which was also through PayPal, and that created another subscription, so that's why the charge wasn't prorated.

    Which plan would you like to keep?

    If I can get the silver plan at the 50% off educator price as advertised, that would be the same cost as the bronze, correct? That’s what I’d like to do. Not looking to spend more than $20/mo

    I was just approved for the educator discount. Does this mean I will be
    refunded $19.50, and it will only cost me $19.50 from here on out?

    Actually, no, you should use the email that you received (approval email) and purchase the desired plan again.

    We would add your last, Silver monthly purchase to our refund queue, but you should cancel that plan, here is how https://www.jotform.com/help/336-How-Can-I-Cancel-My-PayPal-Subscription (the subscription that you should cancel is: S-0AD621737L660524Y).

    After that, you could purchase another plan from the mentioned email above.

    Also, we would have to check your previous plan (Bronze yearly that you bought on 31st of December 2017) since the plan is bought more than 5 months ago, the refund period has passed.

    Both the silver monthly subscription and the bronze yearly subscriptions have been cancelled according to directions. 

    Before I go ahead and sign up for the bronze with the education discount, how will the remainder of my old subscription be refunded?

    I notice that you have already upgraded your account to Silver monthly plan with discounted price. Also, I see that the Silver monthly subscription has already been sent by our colleague for a refund. Please allow 5 to 7 business days to reflect the refund amount. 

    With respect to the Bronze yearly subscription paid through PayPal, unfortunately, we'll not be able to process the refund since the subscription is out of the refundable period. However, we have credited the prorated amount to the new Silver monthly plan of your account. So the account shall be renewed again on 27 Sep, 2018.
