How to let users pay with credit cards using PayPal integration?

I am creating a membership application form and testing in Sandbox mode using my own info. Using PayPal. When I hit SUBMIT it takes me to "Log in to your PayPal account" but has no option for them to just use their credit card thru PayPal with NO account. Your tutorial shows that there should be 2 options after submit - use their existing account or a one time use with credit card. Am I doing something wrong?

    Hello,

According to Paypal, this feature is only available for the Premier or Business account holders only. Personal Accounts do not have this option.

Make sure your account meets the requirement. You can refer to this article https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/account-optional

    Or this one https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/About-Settings/How-to-make-quot-PayPal-Account-optional-quot-option-available/td-p/845267

    Thank you.

To accept both debit and credit cards directly from the form as well as payments from Paypal account, you could also consider setting up PayPal Pro integration:

Victoria, Thank you. We do have a business account but your tutorial said that if you use PayPal Pro there is a $30 monthly charge. We are signed up for a free account, but I want to upgrade it. We are a non-profit and your site told me to sign up for a free account and then an email would be sent to show how to upgrade since we would be eligible for the 50% discount. But we cannot afford to pay for a JotForms account and pay an extra $30 for using PayPal Pro.

Do I understand correctly about the additional PP charge? And how do I go about upgrading our account as a non-profit?

Do I understand correctly about the additional PP charge?

To clarify, we don't impose these charges. This is just a standard monthly fee imposed by PayPal to merchants who are using PayPal Pro. You can learn more on this page where they mentioned the $30 charge.

And how do I go about upgrading our account as a non-profit?

To apply for a nonprofit discount, please go to this page https://www.jotform.com/nonprofit/pricing/

Fill out the form on that page and make sure you will enter your correct USERNAME (MAL2004) and EMAIL ADDRESS (mispillionarts@gmail.com). Upload a copy of your organization's 990 form and if you're outside the US (or don't have a 990 form), kindly attach any appropriate document that officiates your nonprofit status.

Your application will be reviewed and upon approval, you will get an email with complete instructions on how to avail the discount.
