Formatting - especially alignment

    Hi -

Love the form, but it is indented more than I'd like, as you can see here:

I'd like for the words "Name" and "Address," and the other form field names to be aligned right under the sentence above, asking people to fiull in the information. Right now they are indented and I havce specified that it be aligned left, but it is STILL indented.

I am using Dreamweaver, and I tried using the embed code for DW but it is SO long, and when I did it that way, the form didn't show up. I used the source code instead, but am wondering how I can space it better. I'd love it if the form could be abite more condensed and not take up as much space vertically.

Please let me know if there is a way to make the form field names appear at the actual left side of the table in which the form resides. I have attached a screenshot, and the red vertical line shows where I would prefer to have the form aligned. It is within an invisible table.

    Thank you!

    Hi Ellen,

On initial look at the page where the form was embedded, indicates that it is contained within an html table with horizontal alignment to the "right". There is also a padding of 4px

Will you be able to adjust this 2 properties in your web page editor? Can you try if changing the alignment and padding will make the difference.

Will await for your updated response.

Hello, and thank you so much for your prompt
response. I am quite impressed with the personal service you provide!
Yes, I did place the form within a table. The
site is created in Dreamweaver, and tables are a
good way to keep elements organized.
The sentence "Please enter the following
information and we will contact you as soon as
possible. Thank you." is left-aligned and I
thought that the form field names would also be
left-aligned inside the table, and would fall in
a direct line below the instructions. It's not
really objectionable, but I thought that if it
was possible to move it over so that the form
field names lined up directly under that
    instructional sentence, it'd look better.
The 4 pixel cell passing applies to that opening
sentence, too, so it wouldn't explain the fact
that the table is indented even farther.
    Thank you again!

Please try as my colleague EduardoMendez suggested. It should work.

I made a test of the page here also if you want to check.

Thank you so much - you are a genius! This worked perfectly. I
haven't uploaded it as yet ... have more changes to make on the page.
    Thank you again!
