Datepicker: How can I show month and year only?

    Hi Guys,


    I have created this form for candidate submission form  https://form.jotform.me/81364580657464

    in this form i have to use date range for multiple field (like intermediate duration, graduation duration etc) for which i have used DATE Difference widget. But the problem is in this widget i am getting option of dd/mm/yy but i only want to use mm/yy.

    Guys plz help me out how to solve this problem.

    Hello Ashok,

    Unfortunately, the date picker fields / widget could only process formats that are on their Date Format option list.

    As a workaround, you may use other widgets like Localized Calendar and DatePicker Year Month, that has option to show month and year only.

    Since you would like a start and end date, you can add two of those widget and label them as Start Date and End Date.

    Hi All,

     
    I used  DatePicker Year Month widget. But i am facing two problems in this widget:-
     
    1) In Form we are filling the Month and Year and it is getting saved as well. but when i am downloading the PDF of form i am not getting that date picker field. this field is invisible in pdf.
    2) when i am editing form, data of  DatePicker Year Month feild is getting changed to by deafault year and month and it is very tough to again change the date and year

    Hello,

    1) Unfortunately, widgets don't work in PDF. Widgets are shown as text field when you created fillable pdf form.

    You can check this guide:

    2) If you talking about submissions, I tested your form. The submissions are correct. I couldn't see any issue with your submissions. Can you give more details about your issue? We would be happy to help.

    I cloned and tested your form and I wasn't able to replicate this issue. But when I checked your PDF design I couldn't find those fields.

    So please try (if you didn't do any special designing since this will reset to default design) resetting of the PDF design:

    1) Click Customize PDF:

    2) Then Reset:

    That should fix your problem.

    Thanks for the info. I will check.

    Meanwhile can you please help me with me second problem that let's say if someone has submitted the form and after reviewing that I need to modify that. The moment I will click on modify all the dates of this widget will automatically get reset to very old date (July 1901). Then again changing that date to the original date is a very bid task as manually you can not enter any date. You will have to click and click to reach form July 1901 to 2010.. So can you please help me in this too
