Why doesn't my upload to Dropbox work?

Asked by jthorburn on November 19, 2012 at 09:59 AM

    Hi there,

I've created a form for submitting conference abstracts that includes a button to upload the abtract to Dropbox. Unfortunately, this box doesn't work. I've tried submitting .pdf and .docx files in the 17-405 KB size range and I get a message saying: "You can only upload following files: .doc, .docx, .pdf, or .rtf. Max: 300 MB".

I have the form embedded on my website (http://www.mun.ca/cag2013/specialsessions.php) and it doesn't work on this page or when I try to upload from just the form (http://www.jotform.ca/form/23183576779267).

I followed all of the steps on this page (http://www.jotform.ca/help/77-Upload-to-Dropbox-with-JotForm) so I think I have the integration done properly.

    Thanks!

I should add, I can upload to JotForm without problems. (I had a button for that in the form earlier.) It's just the Dropbox option that's giving me trouble.

    Hi jthorburn,

Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused. As I've check your form, I found out that you set your upload file size to 307201KB which causing the issue. I just want you to know that a Free account allowed only to upload file with a maximun number of 100MB = 102400KB. I would suggest you to update your file upload size to fixed this issue.

    Thank you!
