Since Friday, the format to download submissions has changed. We used to be able to download all submissions (sales insertions) and be able to pull the ad copy attachment from the pdf file of the downloads, but now it is creating a zip file that I can open to print the insertions, but I am not able to pull the ad copy attachment from the pdf file. I have to download from each insertion. Is it possible to have it go back the way it was before?

I tested this issue and I was able to replicate it. I also received zip file instead of PDF file. You can try using the Download PDF button if you want to get the PDF file. Here's a screencast that you can follow:

I hope this information helps. Thank you.

Sometimes we have 90 or more submission. I used to be able to click download pdf (under the submission) and it would give me a pdf with 10 insertions per page. Downloading 90 times each submission will take a significant amount of additional time. Is there a phone number to speak to someone directly regarding this?

We have forwarded a request to our back-end team to see if it is possible to avoid downloading the PDF file as a zip file:

We can not assure you this will be reverted to the previous way it used to download. You will be updated via this thread.

We really need this to be able to download the way that it used to. Is there any progress? This process creates more errors and takes way longer. Please fins a way to download pdf files that you can pull the attachments from.

    Hello,

We've changed getting submissions PDFs into a new way. The previous one was cumbersome and has a lot of errors when submissions have a lot of uploaded files.

If you can describe what you can't do with the new one comparing the previous, we can help you out. Anyhow, there has been no change in the generated PDF files, we've only changed the way of creating them. So you shouldn't face any difference.

    Waiting for your reply,

    Regards.

Downloading the pdf is different. It creates multiple files that I have to look through to get all of the submissions. I am missing numerous ones every day because of this. I have to click on each submission to pull the ad copy attachment. Also, missing many of them. It takes me 4 times as long to do what it used to and many more mistakes. Going to have to find another option for generating forms.

Also, I originally asked about this almost 3 weeks ago. This support system is terrible.

From what I have investigated, the Download as PDF option to download the submissions was only changed by putting all the submissions PDF into a zipped file .

Previous method is downloading it into batch of PDF files (not packed or contained into single file). The noticeable changed is that the multiple PDF files were now in a zipped file, and the user will only have 1 file to download at once.

Unlike the previous method of batch PDF files, the user have to download multiple PDF files which have tendency for the user loosing the other batch of files.
