Alert is always sent to my default email adress (email@example.com). I created new alert settings with other email adress (firstname.lastname@example.org), but it does not seem to work.

When you check if it works, do you submit the form from your web page or do you click the Test Email button on the email alert? If it's the latter, the notification will only be sent to your default address.
