We have an employment application form that requires the user to attach a resume (.docx, .pdf, etc.) This has been working well for several months. Recently, we are  to not be able to open the upload. The error is this:

    404 Not Found : /jufs/glangham/70724556817968/4042989367882733858/Modern Resume 2.pdf&gt

We get the same error message from the website submissions and also from the email notification.

The URL to the file attachment is:>

I tried the same URL without the &gt at the end, with the same results.

The problem does not happen all of the time; however, I have not been able to see a pattern to the problem.

I checked your uploads for form #70724556817968 and can see that only one file is affected for you client: Sean Michael Tobin - "Modern Resume 2.pdf"

Its likely that there was a problem uploading this file. Or the file is corrupted.

Can you ask Sean to check if his file is working on his computer? And if so, to submit it once again.

Thanks for the response. We are having this issue on about 25% of our submissions, it's not an isolated case.

I will have to escalate this issue to the back-end team. They will take a look at the problem and hopefully provide a fix. You will be notified of any progress via this thread.

We are getting many of these, not just a single instance. I would say 25%
of our uploads are behaving this way.

As you may understand file uploading progress is different than just posting form data and it can take much longer related to file size and user network bandwidth. While file upload still continues in background user may close the browser before file upload is finished. We see that files are not uploaded completely and we are not able to recover them. We have tried to replicate the issue on our side but could not succeed. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
