Upgrade account: Have an existing yearly plan and want to upgrade to next higher plan

Since I already paid the yearly fee for the bronze, would I have that as a credit on my account or do I still have to pay the full amount to upgrade to the silver?

The amount for the remaining unused months of your Bronze yearly will be calculated and will be deducted when you upgrade to the next higher plan.
