When I reposition the conditions (by dragging them) they stop working.

    Hi,

When I add a new condition then reposition it on the list of conditions so that like ones are by each other for ease of management, the condition stops working. We have not had to remove all conditions and reprogram a form 8 times and I have just realized the cause is when the condition is dragged to a new order in the conditions list. Not sure why this is happening but we have now wasted a lot of time redoing this over and over. Can you advise on a fix for this as I can't afford to have this continue.

To clarify, I have confirmed all conditions are correct (after trying the form and it failing). I have tried deleting the condition and adding it again (exact same as the one that I had before) and it will work. Then I go and drag it to be near the other like conditions and it stops working.

    Please provide guidance.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience.

Positioning conditions (by dragging them) has an effect on how the conditions work on the form.

The result of the condition that is placed first before another condition that has the same "if rule(s)" is the one that will be prioritized.

For example, we have two conditions.

With the above condition, the value that will appear in the Short Text Entry field will be "Cat".

Here's what will happen if we switch the position of the conditions.

It's possible that when you dragged the conditions to arrange them, it created conflict and made your form to not work as expected.

Can you tell us which form are you working on, please? And, can you explain to us in details what's happening and what should not be happening in your form? We will be glad to take a look at it for you.

    Hi Mike,

The form is: HSG New Worker or subcontractor basic registration form for e-safety

An example of an error where this occurred is the top 4 conditions on the list 1,2,3,4 currently listed in the conditions for the form cited above. They were previously much further down the list (30th ish) and worked one time and then didn't after that. Now that they are at the top, they work but I fear now the other conditions aren't going to work properly now that these ones are at the top.

How would one go about knowing which conditions is priority over another or will that only matter if you have multiple conditions programmed for the same question in which case just those conditions relating to that specific question matter for priority (order)?

    Hi,

if  the first page needs condition 12 to work then condition 12 will be prioritized and so on.it also happens when multiple conditions are working on the same field then the last updated value will taken as the field value.
