Hi, in your single question forms I have been trying to validate a number field to ensure a certain amount of numbers are entered.
For example 10 for phone numbers (mobile) and 4 for postcodes.I can use the "set limit entry" in the advanced settings but it doesn't seem to work because to ensure 10 digits, for example, it has to be set at 10 min and 10 max.
Please enlighten me.
thanks

Could regular phone number field with mask work for you?
For example:
You can check how it works here:

Let us know how it works.
Thank you!

No, we tried that and it doesn't ensure poeple enter all their numbers. We used that originally thinking it would do just that and ended up with a lot of missing numbers.
We then just went to a number form and tried the min and max limits and discovered the above problem.
I am surprised this hasn't come up as an issue, or that it hasn't been thought about as it seems pretty standard.
What other solutions do you have?

Hello,
Unfortunately, we do not have an option to require min amount of characters to be inputed at the moment. I will escalate a feature request on your behalf and as soon as we get such option, we will inform you via this thread.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Okay- I thought I must be missing something as it seems such an obvious feature for a form.
We're getting about 10% where people are missing numbers and we've found half of those are accidental, so be great for this feature to be added.
thanks, R
