Posting form info to google analytics "ecommerce tracking" tab

    Hi, we're upgrading our reservation form on our site to use jotform but need to know if this is going to be possible:

    Our whale watching biz has a reservation request form..... when someone puts through a reservation request they enter in how many people, what tour ( includes the price ), their credit card, and dates. We need to be able to put a value on each reservation request ( people x price )  and submit that data so it shows up in our google analytics "ecommerce tracking" data.

    Google analytics supports this type of thing but it's a bit technical... see details here:

    Having this data in our analytics tells us what advertisements are working and which ones arent. Is there an easy way to do this with Jotform?

    Thanks for any ideas.

    Do you mean adding form answers into thank you URL? such as:{name}&price={price}

    If so, it's not possible yet but you can make JotForm to POST all form data to thank you URL so that you can process this data on your site.

    Yes, exactly. {price} being more important. The total transaction amount is the first priority.

    Where can I go to learn more about how to setup the post confirmation page? Thanks.

    In order to send POST data to your thank you page, your thank you page should be a PHP (or equavalent) script, HTML files will not work.

    When you set your thank you page (script) using "Thank You Page Wizard" on "Setup & Share" toolbar click on the "Preferences" button.

    A new window will open, switch to "Advanced Settings" tab and set "Send Post Data" to "Yes"

    Now when you submit your form, all submission information will also be posted to your thank you page along with the detailed payment info and a unique submission ID.

    You can see the data using this PHP code on your thank you page

       echo "<pre>";
       echo "</pre>"
