I believe a ticket was submitted to our developers for YYYY/MM/DD to be among the choices in the form builder's date format selector but it's not been implemented as yet. So, the only way to present a date field to users in that format would be to use the form's full source and switch the inputs around in that order. However, the form's records would still display dates in the current format.
Would such a solution suffice?
I agree this date format is needed (yyyy-mm-dd). If you use one of the two other formats then try to sort a table or grid report the dates will not sort correctly. In order to get dates to sort in the correct order for the English language/format you need the year first, then the month, then the date.
Please advise if this is ever going to be implemented.
Request you to please open/create a new thread with regards on your query for further assistance.
