When I mentioned I would prefer they be side by side I was referring to the Start Date and End Date fields, yes, not the pop-up calendar.

Thank you for this. Once I cleared my form cache it worked perfectly (only a slight adjustment, the top margin is -27px for anyone trying to replicate this in the future.) I'm still seeing the wrong date format, hopefully you or Kiran can address in the original post. Jotform support is the best!
