Emails alerts not delivering on time

    This just started a few days ago. When client's make submission using my jotform, I don't receive emails alerts on time. Sometimes I never receive them. It really isn't convenient having to come check submissions on jotform all the time. Please what could be the cause?

    Hi,

    In what form this issue happens? In this case, please try using noreply@jotform.com as your form notifications "Sender Email".

    In other side, your email address quotation@visualessenceltd.com is listed on our bouce list for the following reasons;

    Result: 

    quotation@visualessenceltd.com is IN the bounce list  

    Reason(s) : 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 552-'5.2.0 V2CL1k02U4UxKmF012CNcM IB212 m=sg rejected as spam'

    To prevent this from happening again and to ensure mail delivery on time, please add Jotmails IP addresses to your server whitelist. Guide: Whitelisting JotMails IP Addresses

    Hello Welvin,

    I've had this issue before, months ago and I was able to solve it by doing everything you've suggested above. I have since added jotmails IP addressess to my whitelist and I also use the noreply@jotform.com as sender email. These have been working fine for me for months now, until 3 days ago when all these started.

     

    Do you have any other suggestions?

    It seems to be working for my contact form, which delivers to a sparate email. But the quotation form email is not receiving any alerts

    Hi,

    As above stated, your email address is listed on our bounce list for some reason (also given above). I've done removing the mention email address from our boucelist so I assumed everything works fine again, if not, please be sure to let us know.

    Suggestions?

    -I don't exactly have another suggestion as you have done it already, adding Jotmails IP Address to your whitelist. Just one thing, please update or take a look if the settings on your server side have not been changed.

    -The said form is set to send notifications to email address: quotation@visualessenceltd.com which lately been added to our bouce list. 

    -I have done a test submission to the said form, please check the inbox of the mention email address if its coming through.

    Hi Welvin,

    I just checked my inbox now and I received the submission. I guess it's as you said, the email was added to the bounce list. I'm just wondering why it happened and if it could happen again, so that I can prevent that in the future.

    Hi,

    Check this guide for the list of IP's: Whitelisting JotMails IP Addresses and also check your server whitelist section and see if the IP was correctly configured or have not been changed, compare them and do the changes if need. This the recommended solutions to fix such cases.
