URL to prepopulate fields does not work anymore

This URL used to load the form prefilled with the information passed in the parameters. As of this morning, it just loads the form with no data prefilled.

OK, but that's not really a fix. This worked yesterday, but is broken today, so something must have changed on your end. I have thousands of these links autogenerated and then shortened and they are now all broken. I can change the URLs, but it will take time due to API limits. What do I do in the meantime? What happens next time you arbitrarily decide to change the way your domain resolution works?

As far as I know nothing was changed on our end.

    www. or from. or secure.

    https://www.jotformpro.com

    https://form.jotformpro.com

    https://secure.jotformpro.com

is always a part of a form URL.

How did you created that prepopulated form URL? With our prepopulate app?

    https://prepopulate.jotform.io/

I tested that app and the generated URL starts with https://form. or with https://secure. if the secure option is selected.

We prepopulate using the parameterized URL as in the original ticket. We do not use your app, we use java code to build the url dynamically based on data in an external database.

Once again this all worked yesterday. Some time between 2018-07-17 22:15:22 and 2018-07-18 03:42:30 this stopped working. I can see that submissions before this have all the information filled in, and after they do not. We have not changed this code in several years.

Am I to understand that you will not be fixing this on your end and I am left to modify all our existing URLs?

    Hello,

I clearly understand the inconvenience this has caused you and I sincerely apologize that you have to experience it.

As far as I can tell, jotformpro.com domain was used for our old plan Premium/Professional. Currently, that plan has already been phased out and replaced with our new Bronze/Silver/Gold plan. Yours though has been retained since you have been one of our loyal clients (which we dearly appreciate).

In our efforts to make our product better, we have made a couple of changes within the years that has passed, apparently, this includes the domain/subdomains.

As with my colleague, I could only suggest you use https://www.jotformpro.com instead of your current https://jotformpro.com. I could not guarantee you that it will not change in the coming years as we do strive to always make our product better.

Let us know if there's anything we can assist you with.

Which domain has the best chance of not changing in the future? Can you point me to some documentation that outlines which is the proper and officially supported domain?

You can check out this list below which outlines our domains:

    - United States - jotform.us and jotform.com

    - Canada - jotform.ca

    - EU (European Union) -  jotformeu.com and eu.jotform.com

    - Asia - jotform.me

    - Africa - myjotform.com

    - S. America - jotformz.com

    - Other - jotform.co

    - Premium/Pro - jotformpro.com

In addition, you can also find a list of domains here: https://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-Addresses

Unfortunately, we currently don't have an article for the list of subdomains. Since www subdomain is a widely known subdomain, I would suggest using this instead.

Upon checking, I can see that you are from US, as such, I highly suggest using www.jotform.com moving forward as this has the least probability of being revised or removed. I can also confirm that your forms are accessible via this domain.
