HOW can i pass a vailable using a link?

Asked by waxing1 on November 30, 2012 at 08:03 AM

I need to pass a variable using a link to a form, not embedding the form.  This will be used in a locator application.  I need to be able to put "click here" to leave a comment and pass variables to a form.  How can this be done?

    Form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23054693520955

The hidden Field I am trying to pass is "ID"

    Thank you

    Here's a guide for that: http://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-the-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

    Example: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23054693520955?sid=valuehere

I'd suggest to use different terms not ID because I think it might be conflicting to JotForm's default ID field. As you can see on my example I am using sid which is supposed to be id, but using sid should work better to avoid conflicts.

    Hope this help. Thanks!
