I want to ask you about how to edit pdf form. I tried using the PDF editor to customize the PDF i receive when my form is submitted by email. I followed the instruction My forms - Click Submission and i dont have entries on the submission page. I just saw " No results to display, check your search query or time frame options". Also when i click the PDF Editor (under Form -> settings -> Email -> Advanced) i dont see entry on the form and i cannot use any options on the page. There was an instruction to drag and drop fields to form but where do i get the fields.
Please assist and thank you for the usual help.

Your forms doesn't have submissions yet. You'll need to have a submission in order for you to edit PDF. Please also check our guide here https://www.jotform.com/help/384-How-to-Customize-PDF-Submissions-Report for steps on how to.

You can still have the submissions saved in your email as notification. Here's our guide https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-up-Email-Notifications on how you can setup an email notification.
Please note that this app deletes new form submissions instantly as soon as they are received. Setup a notification if you want to send it to your email as a copy of the submitted data.

Hi,
Yes i have the notification set and i am receiving PDF attachment on email received. I would like to modify the format of the PDF file received by adding my company header and arranging the fields if possible. I tried using the PDF Editor (under Form -> settings -> Email -> Advanced) but non of the button are functioning. Is it because i have the apps to delete the form submission?
Hope you can clarify further on this matter.
Thanks

It will not work because you don't have any submissions saved in your form. What I suggest you to do is go to this link http://auto-delete.jotform.io/dashboard, remove your form and make a test submission. Once you have already a submission saved in your form you can now try editing the PDF.

Hi,
Just a final question. lets say i disable the auto-delete function and manage to save data when i do a test submission, I believe at this point i can now edit the PDF. But if i turn ON again the auto-delete function, will the PDF I edited be the same or the changes will be lost. Also, will the saved data be lost as well?
Hope you can clarify further and thanks for your usual assistance.

Hello,
If you modify and save the pdf report, it will be saved for all your next submissions regardless the auto-delete function and even if you remove the test submission, which you've used as a template.
Hope this helps.
